Our Office Manager here at Heath Insurance has been working in the industry for 32 years and has gained some invaluable experience along the way. That’s approximately 7,456 working days! For every one of those days, Karen has worked hard to deliver a great experience for every customer – from your first contact with Heath’s, to policy inception; from claims to renewal. But what does that look like on a day to day basis? Well, now you can find out:
7.30 to 7.45 – Arrive at work, depending on M6 traffic.
7.45 to 8.00 – Get everything open and ready for the day, do previous days’ banking.
8.00 to 9.00 – Check diary and emails in order to time manage effectively.
9.00 to 10.30 – Probably invite renewals/chase existing ones after post has arrived.
10.30 to noon – Various meetings. Recently, that included meeting a lady via a BNI connection, who has some interesting ideas that may introduce new clients to us.
Noon to 1.30pm – Respond to new emails that have arrived, check accounts and email them to Crewe, along with any other business that has arisen during the day.
1.30 to 4pm – More meetings – I’ve learnt that the best way to maintain the best customer service and products for our customers is to keep up to date with the world around us.
4pm – Do our daily stats and email to Jason.
4.30 to 5pm – Time to leave for the day, after finishing off any other business that has arisen.
We can see that Karen really does put a tremendous amount of effort in to her job and the hard work certainly pays off. Thank you Karen!
